Apophyllite on Chalcedony

Apophyllite's come from the Zeolite family. Zeolites combine rarity, beauty, complexity and unique crystal habits. Zeolites occur with other crystals, generally in a matrix form. They include Apophyllite, Okenite, Pectolite, Prehnite and Stilbite.

Coming from the Greek word of ‘Apo’ and ‘Phyllon’, the Apophyllite crystal captures its name from its flaky like silicate texture and a touch that is as soft as snow. Despite the delicate sounding name, this crystal is spiritually strong and shot with incredibly high vibrations.
